Faridpur Development Agency (FDA) is a local Non Government Development Organization. FDA was initiated in development work from Faridpur district in 1978 by as a group of youth social worker.

FDA is now a well known rural development organization with 151 regular staffs, covering over 410 villages in 76 union of Faridpur district. Income generating project (IGP), Income Generating Activities (IGA) and  Aquaculture Development Project  (AqDP)  are  the major Three program of FDA organized over 1179 groups in rural area covering directly 24855 hard core poor people.

Non-formal education is a remarkable program of FDA, more then 30355 illiterate people non-formal education facilities through 966 center.
